Wellness centre construction
Wellness and spa centre design
We create spaces devoted to relaxation, regeneration and complete enjoyment. We handle the entire process of designing wellness and spa centres, from the initial idea and concept development, through the design and careful selection of materials and equipment, to the realisation and construction itself.
Our goal is to turn every space into a unique oasis of peace and comfort, where functionality, aesthetics and modern wellness solutions blend perfectly. From concept design to final realisation, we create spaces that deliver an exceptional experience.
Kambala tub, cold plunge tub or mini cold pool
A dip in a tub full of cold water is ideal after a sauna session.
It is built from the finest types of wood, in various shapes, with or without a ladder (auxiliary bench), and with built-in water supply and drainage. Inside the tub is an anatomically shaped seat. These cold pools hold from 350 to 500 l of water.
Besides wood as the basic material, the mini cold pool can, at the customer's request, also be made from other building materials, finished in tiles or glass mosaic, or clad in acrylic materials.
For a better look, a retro or modern design can be complemented with advanced LED lighting.
Shock therapy — bucket
A bucket holding 12 l of cold water, made from the finest types of wood with a stainless steel structure, available in various versions and wood colours.
A bucket of cold water instantly boosts circulation and draws excess heat from the body (most often after a sauna session), giving a pronounced feeling of euphoria and happiness.
Hydromassage tables (small hammam)
The hydromassage table is designed to be placed in the central part of a hammam. It is multifunctional, with a heated surface covered in glass mosaic and rounded edges, as well as an integrated hydromassage shower mixer (hot and cold water).
It is used for a variety of treatments, from oriental massage with hammam soaps, herbal massage and the use of essential oils, to therapies with medicinal mud, after which the user is showered directly on the table.
The glass mosaic surface is quick and easy to clean and ensures maximum hygiene.
Tepidarium
The tepidarium (warm room) is an essential part of wellness and spa centres. Tepidarium loungers are built from polystyrene with a built-in heating element and thermostat, allowing precise control of the lounger temperature from 35 to 40 °C. The loungers are covered with the finest glass mosaic in various patterns, and the quality of the built-in equipment guarantees long and reliable operation.
The shape of the tepidarium is ideally adapted to the body's contours, ensuring maximum relaxation.
The purpose of the heated loungers is to relax the muscles and the whole body as much as possible; they are used before water or manual massage, as well as to prepare the body before time in the steam bath.
Heated benches
Heated benches are an essential part of steam bath interiors or can be placed near hydromassage pools. They are made from the finest polystyrene and clad in glass mosaic. They are produced in various shapes and to the dimensions set by the installation space itself. With no sharp edges and a shape adapted to the body, they provide maximum rest and safety.
Kneipp
A Kneipp consists of two or a series of micro-pools filled with warm (around 38 °C) and/or cold (around 18 °C) water. By walking alternately for 2–3 minutes through warm and cold water, Kneipp therapy helps with exhaustion, rheumatic complaints, hormonal problems and allergies, and boosts circulation.
It is made in a wide variety of shapes and designs, with or without LED lighting, and given the constant presence of water at different temperatures, the choice of building materials and technical solutions ensures a long service life for every Kneipp installation.
Steam (Turkish) bath
A steam (Turkish) bath, or hammam, is characterised by very high air humidity of 100 % and somewhat lower temperatures than in saunas, between 40 and 50 °C. The walls and ceiling are clad in ceramics, thermally and acoustically insulated and completely vapour-tight. With quality materials and a reliable steam generator installed in the prescribed manner, the steam bath can achieve the longest possible service life with minimal maintenance. It is built in a wide variety of versions and design solutions, giving your space a sense of exclusivity.
Time in a steam bath benefits the respiratory tract and helps against colds, relieves symptoms in people with rheumatic complaints, keeps the skin constantly hydrated and moisturised, and by opening the pores allows the skin to be cleansed and the body to be freed of toxins. It relieves stress and is the ideal place to socialise while relaxing. For a stronger therapeutic effect, essences of eucalyptus, pine, lemon, mint… are added to the steam.
Sauna
Saunas hold a significant place when choosing wellness facilities and are another of the therapies that emphasise the importance of sweating for human health. It is hard to list all the positive effects of this treatment: besides expelling toxins from the body through sweating, strengthening the heart and increasing the elasticity of blood vessels, the sauna also helps us relax the body, relieve stress and sleep peacefully. The natural ambience of a wood-panelled room filled with the scent of wood and herbs is in itself an excellent start to the sauna experience.
Saunas can be divided by the types of wood they are made from: Finnish spruce, white pine or aspen, Canadian cedar and abachi wood, and many other types of wood that can be used for this purpose. High temperatures of up to 110 °C, with relatively low humidity of around 20 %, require the right choice of materials and of the sauna's construction, with energy savings through adequate insulation and preventing heat loss from the sauna, as well as comfort and safety for sauna users.
Viva Salt team offers a wide selection of ready-made saunas in various dimensions and builds saunas made to measure for your space. The sauna temperature is achieved through the right choice of sauna heater, from various manufacturers, or by building infrared cabins, where the skin is heated directly by IR rays, without indirect heat transfer.
Viva Salt team uses its skills to build the sauna, in terms of design and technique, by combining materials, wood and stone, and through the choice of lighting makes your sauna unique and different.
Ice cave, ice room
Besides the range of treatments that benefit the body and involve time spent in warm rooms, an equal effect on the body is achieved in cold environments such as an ice room or cave. The heated body needs to be cooled down, thereby stimulating circulation and boosting metabolism.
Temperatures in these rooms are around 5 °C.
Ice fountain
The ice fountain also belongs to the wellness facilities of the so-called cold zone. Rubbing ice on the skin after warm treatments in the sauna or steam bath stimulates circulation and provides instant refreshment.
Jacuzzi — hydromassage tub
Hydromassage tubs, popularly called jacuzzis, can be found in some wellness and spa centres. Today, centres increasingly feature larger stylish pools with warm water, room for gentle swimming and movement, and hydromassage features, while jacuzzi tubs are usually found in smaller wellness centres or as an additional feature in a separate, secluded VIP area.
The water temperature in hydromassage tubs is around 30 °C. They are used to relax the muscles, relieve stiffness and for relaxation, and they help relieve stress.
